Overview

This wine from Greece is made from a great indigenous grape called Xinomavro.  In Greece, it is a hit and recently, it has started to make its way into the international markets as an example that Greek wine can be pretty fantastic.  On the nose, you will detect powerful notes of ripe plums along with earthy notes and some raspberry.  On the palate, you will immediately notice how dry it is.  The fruit is mild and the tannins very delicate.  The perfect compliment for grilled lamb of stuffed grape leaves.
