Overview

For those weekend evenings when you want to curl up with a good movie, some pasta, and an affordable wine, this is a pick you should consider.  This 2007 Chianti Classico is made from Sangiovese (90%), Colorino (5%) and Merlot (5%) grapes and has been aged for 12 months.  The result is a sweet and aromatic wine full of bright berry fruits and dark stone fruits as well.  A little hint of spice and this wine easily goes with everything.  It is a crowd pleaser - especially at the price.
