A major plug for this wine would be the price - under $20.00 in most markets.  It is a crowd pleaser with lots of cherries, plums, spice, anise, and pepper on the nose.   More red fruit on the palate and loads of character make this a fun and affordable wine for those nights of canneloni smothered in mama's homemade tomato sauce.
