Taking the 30-Day Challenge? Which wine has been your favorite thus far?

The 30-Day Challenge is in full swing, encouraging Ontarians to drink ONLY local wines. We would like to know if you are participating in the 30-Day Challenge and if so, what has the experience been like? Which wine has been your favorite thus far? Share your thoughts!

I have been taking the challenge and so have many people on Twitter. In fact, it is starting to become a bit much. I unsubscribed from three people today sharing their daily Ontario wine via Twitter. I have enjoyed finding my own selections at the LCBO by myself, but having a million posts from others is a nuissance. I like asking my local LCBO rep what he thinks and so far, his picks have been fantastic. I really enjoyed the Henry of Pelham picks (Riesling, Chardonnay) as well as the Trumpour's Mill (Gamay Noir).

I already drink lots of Ontario wine. We drink a bottle of wine each night and while 30 bottles of Ontario wine in a row would be great, we opted to do one every three nights. So we are having a 90-Day challenge I guess. Also allows us to compare Ontario wine with other regions. It has been fun. Fielding is one of my favorites. Rosehall Run and Mike Weir have also been good choices so far.
