What is your favorite foodie treats each year at the CNE?

With so much to see and do in and around the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), we thought it would be great if you could provide us with your tips or experiences. What is your favorite foodie treats each year at the CNE? Is it deep-fried? Is it a childhood favorite? Or do you have a favorite local place to hang-out before you head to the fair? I remember going as a kid and always having some fries with ketchup mid-afternoon between rides. It was always a great day. My grand-parents would take me and we would pig out as kids. After all, grandma and grandpa would always spoil us! And for the walk back to the streetcar, some cotton candy. Now as a mother, I can understand how upset my own mother was when we would come home covered in cotton candy and ketchup stains! Good times.

The "F" food group--funnel cakes and french fries. Fried food is the only way to fuel up at the CNE!! : )
