What is your inside tip for the best Stop for Food prix fixe?

This is Gremolata's Discussion Topic of the Day for August 4, 2009:

With "Stop for Food" (a benefit for The Stop Community Food Centre) in full swing, we wanted to know if you will be attending of if you have already participated. Do you have any inside tips? Any special prix fixe meals we should definitely check out? Share your thoughts!

I don't understand why we even have Summerlicious anymore with all of thyese prix-fixe events happening in the city. Sort of a wast of advertising dollars if you ask me. I would much prefer supporting a pre-fixe helping a good cause (like this one) versus a general prix-fixe to support advertisers. On that note, does anyone have a good suggestion? I like Cowbell and Zuca, what about Niagara Street?

Summerlicious has become a "give the customer crappy food at a discount" event
