Looking for a Good Mohito Recipe

Does anyone have a good Mohito recipe to share?  Had a party last weekend and we dcided to make Mohitos in a pitcher and it took forever to get the taste right.  Anyone have a "good rule of thumb" for mixing one up? Either individually or in a pitcher?   Thanks in advance!

My rule of thumb with mojitos:   Per serving/glass of mojito (high ball glass size):   1 teason of icing sugar (dissolves better) 3-4 leaves of mint 2 wedges of lime 1 1/2 shots of white rum   Muddle everything in the glass with the end of a wooden spoon, add ice and fill to the top of the glass with club soda. (This can be done by the pitcher too--just repeat for how ever many servings your pitcher holds)

okay, i'm a professional, so i'm gonna give you the dope.   highball glass about a handful of mint leaves, and a sprig on stem for garnish half a lime, cut into wedges, then halved ice simple syrup (mix one part sugar, one part boiling water. mix until dissolved, cool completely before using. you can also make this with Splenda) Rum of your choice   in the glass, tear the mint leaves - very important to tear them as it releases the flavor add lime wedges 3/4 oz simple syrup, or to taste 1-1/2 oz rum of your choice muddle all together in glass, and don't be shy! fill glass with ice, top with club soda garnish with lime wedge and mint sprig enjoy!
