What do you love about your favorite cook or sommelier?

This thread is dedicated to the hard working cooks and sommeliers out there who work long hours to perfect their craft and bring us all some great culinary experiences. Do you have a favorite chef? Something nice to say to a cook? Or a thumbs-up for a certain sommelier? Share them here, and share the love!

I think all of the hard working restaurant folk deserve some praise. I remember whn I was in college I used to work in a prep role at a hotel. We would have to prepare plate after plate and it is very tough work. Planning the meals, orderig the ingredients, cooking, plating, and serving. PLUS all the clean up. The conditions of the dishwashers was awful. People need to know what these folks go through and the long hours they work. They all deserve a round of applause!

I agree with the previous post, they all work VERY hard I could not pick just one. However, I do have a bit of a crush on some chefs more than others. We should have a national day off for restaurant folk. Give them a paid break. Like Administrative Professionals day. A day e can go buy flowers, drop by our favorite little Bistro, and give the cook out back some flowers for being such a great and talented person.
