I have never really been a fan of The Caesar, to be honest. Too harsh on the throat. I can see why it would be a Canadian favorite however, it has warmth to it. I have tried the Mott's pre-mixed one and it wasn't bad, less spicy. But for me, a Vodka tonic will do fine.

Caesar's are a perfect pre-dinner drink--don't know that my recipe is particularly different but I get lots of request to make this:

In a tall glass:
1 1/12 shots vodka
3-4 ice cubes
2-3 drops "lee & perrins"
2 drops "tabasco"
cracked pepper
lemon wedge (squeeze the juice in the glass)
fill the glass with clamato

**If you have it--add a teaspoon of horseradish

Enjoy on a cottage dock if you can...patio will do in a pinch!!
