Slow Food Toronto Presents a Heritage Chicken Tasting. Explore the flavours and textures of Jersey Giant, Buff Orpington, Barred Plymouth Rock and Americauna chickens roasted, braised, pan seared and in broth form through a guided tasting led by Carrie Oliver. Tastings Prepared by Chefs: David Chrystian of Victor, Donna Dooher of Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, and Scott Vivian and Marc Dufour of The Wine Bar. Heritage breeds provided by Mark Trealout of Kawartha Ecological Growers. This event will be held at Hotel Le Germain, 30 Mercer Street. Price: $35 for Slow Food Members $45 for Non-Members. Funds raised will support a Slow Food Toronto Terra Madre Fund.
